3D Phones: A General Overview

The mobile domain has seen a lot of exciting developments in the past few years. From faster dual core processors, hyper real displays and faster net connectivity and of course the one that tops it all, glassless 3D displays. HTC and LG were the first to adopt the technology in the form of HTC EVO 3D and LG Optimus 3D respectively. The comparison is quite difficult as the quality of 3D displays are hard is to judge in such a small area. Apart from the usual color and clarity, the critical aspect to check in a 3D mobile phone is the 3D density. A better 3D density gives an improved layering effect and more depth to your images.

Most mobile phone reviews have stated the HTC EVO 3D to be a much better phone when it comes to 3D capapbilites. The HTC EVO 3D packs increased 3D density but the LG Optimus 3D rendered better color saturation and image clarity. When it comes to the camera, the EVO 3D is miles ahead, with easy focusing, smoother images and overall detailing. Much like the display, the images taken with the Optimus 3D had better color saturation, however the detailing was a big letdown along with little or no 3D effect being incorporated into the images.

To buy mobile phones online  invoked hesitant reaction a few years back, but the scenario is slowly changing mostly due to the fact that most online stores allow a replacement guarantee. An online mobile store is a good way to get a comparison on the two handsets as most of them have a comparison page which lets you compare the specs side by side. Like any new technology, 3D cell phone prices have seen a massive slide ever since these two phones were launches.

The best way to evaluate a 3D camera is to check how much 'pop' the camera can incorporate into the image. This where the HTC EVO 3D really stands out, literally, the images on the phone seem to hover over thin air. Before you decide on which phone to buy make sure you such multiple sites which give mobile phone prices to ensure you get the best deal.

Most of the latest mobile phones with 3D capability have focusing issues as they use dual cameras and there is a chance they might not sync in focus, so it will require multiple focusing before you get your subject the way you want them to be.

3D Mobile Phones

After the 4G and 3G battles, the next big thing in mobile phones seems to be 3D smart phones. The technology has existed for a while, but now it has also become accessible to the common man with the advent of digital cameras with 2 cameras. The same goes for mobile phones. The mobile market has seen 2 new entrants that support 3D photo shooting. We bring you the latest mobile phones: the HTC EVO 3D and the LG Optimus 3D.
HTC EVO 3D

Both these phones are incredibly powerful and have dual lens cameras that you can use to shoot 3D photographs. There are 2 aspects to 3D shooting: the glass display and the camera itself. Let's take a look at the 2 mobile phones and their performance. Most mobile phone reviews pick one over the other, but in this, the facts will be laid out for you to decide.

Both phones have a 5 megapixel primary camera. Refer to any online mobile store, and you will see that. The secondary camera on the HTC EVO has a 1.3 megapixel resolution whereas the LG Optimus has a 0.3 megapixel resolution. This definitely will impact photo resolution, but in 3D integration, this might be a negligible difference. The other features of these 2 phones include auto focus and geo-tagging.

The LG Optimus3D, on the other hand, can shoot 3D images at up to 3 megapixel resolution, which begs the question: so does it make a difference? Probably not, considering the technology is still an infant, so to speak. If you want to buy mobile phone online, you will even get a sweet deal, considering the competition in the online space is something fierce.

Both phones weigh almost the same (168 g for the LG and 170 g for the HTC) and the HTC is powered by a more powerful processor. With the HTC EVO, you have the added advantage of the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS whereas the LG Optimus3D has the Android 2.2 (Froyo). Be assured that the cell phone price is the same on both these phones, so either way, you are getting the absolutely latest technology at quite a steal. So don't hesitate. Leap into the 21st century with the adventure of 3D phones and be the envy of the crowd!
